Urgent Closure of: Ramsbury Road (part), Axford

WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 3 June 2025, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Bobcat Patching works - Potholes & edge defects..

Ramsbury Road (part), Axford; from its junction with Sound Copse Lane for approximately 320 metres in a North Easterly direction.

Alternative route: via Marlborough Road - Ramesbury Road - Whites Hill North - Stock Lane - Marlborough Road - Castle Street - Aldbourne Road - Copse Drove - Marlborough Road - A346 - St Martins - Poulton Hill - Ramesbury Road (unaffected length) and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

These works will commence on 3 June 2025 and are anticipated to be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
