A number of poppy wreaths at the foot of a war memorial

We Will Remember Them

In a year when we are unable to gather together, on Remembrance Sunday, 8 November 2020, at 11 am our Mayor, Councillor Mark Cooper joined representatives from Marlborough Royal British Legion to observe the 2-minute silence and lay wreaths at the cenotaph.  A small number of representatives from other organisations also attended, including Wiltshire Councillor James Sheppard and Marlborough Brownies, while a few residents safely looked on. Other organisations will be laying their wreaths in the next few hours and days.

We cannot be together to pay our respects this year, but We Will Remember Them together
