We will be releasing a collection of digital content on our DarkSkiesFest Facebook page on Saturday 3 October to mark what would have been Marlborough's first festival dedicated to the night sky.

Covering a range of topics, there will be something for everyone, and to whet your appetite here's an image from Marlborough's own Gavin James - an exceptional astrophotographer who does "back garden astronomy". 

For a taste of what's to come, here's an introduction by Charles Barclay, Director of the Blackett Observatory in the grounds of Marlborough College.
