Temporary Closure of M4 J15-14
From Friday 11 to Monday 14 September.
Highways England South East have let us know about a planned closure of the M4 over the weekend of 11-14 September.
"We're resurfacing various sections of the M4 westbound and eastbound carriageways, between junction 12 (Theale, West Berkshire) and junction 15 (Swindon, Wiltshire).
Work is primarily taking place using overnight closures of sections of the M4. As some sections of the resurfacing will require replacement of deep layers below the surface and additional time will be needed for the materials to harden, we will need to close the M4 over full weekend periods, from 9pm on Friday through to 6am on Monday as follows:
Friday 11 September to Monday 14 September – M4 eastbound carriageway between junction 15 and junction 14
During the closures signed diversions will be in place primarily using the A4.
