Remembrance Commemorations
On Remembrance Sunday people from Marlborough and beyond turned out in great numbers despite the cold weather to take part in Marlborough's traditional Remembrance Sunday Parade. Following an inspection in the High Street Phoenix Brass led the march to the New Road War Memorial for all to pay their respects to those who lost their lives in war.
Marlborough also paused at 11 o'clock on Saturday, 11th November to respect a two minute silence for Armistice Day, followed by the laying of wreaths at the 7th Battalion Wiltshire Regiment Memorial. More photographs of the two events can be found in our gallery.
