Our enquiry office will be closed from Christmas Eve until Monday, 5 January.

For emergencies relating to roads, footpaths, streetlights, fallen trees, adult or social care or dangerous buildings please contact Wiltshire Council on 0300 456 0100.

For river flooding, the Environment Agency Floodline is 0345 988 1188.

In the case of an emergency for our services only (Town Hall, Youth Centre, Cemetery, public toilets, play areas and our parks and open spaces), please call 07593 584095 or 07706 323778.

Cancellation of Markets 

Wiltshire Council’s Markets Team canvassed traders who advised they do not wish to trade between 25 December 2025 and 5 January 2026.  The timing of Christmas means it will be difficult for traders to source stock/produce, especially those selling fresh goods in the week between Christmas and New Year.  In view of this the Council has taken the decision to cancel all markets from Thursday 25 December 2025 to Monday 5 January 2025.  This means there will be no markets in Marlborough on Saturday 27 December 2025 - Wednesday 31 December 2025 -  Saturday 3 January 2026
