Your new Town Mayor
Councillor Kym-Marie CleasbyOn Monday, 13 May at the Annual Town Council Meeting (more commonly known as Mayor Making) Councillor Kym-Marie Cleasby was elected Town Mayor for the 2024-25 municipal year and Councillor Emily Trow was elected Deputy Mayor. Retiring Town Mayor, Councillor Nicholas Fogg, handed over the robe to Councillor Cleasby after his third term in the office.
The formal ceremony was witnessed by guest of honour Deputy Lieutenant Mrs Rachel Gowshall JP, former Mayors, family, friends, invited guests and partners of the Town Council. Councillor Cleasby's Mayoral charities are the Jubilee Centre and Love Marlborough Kids Meals.
