Consultation - Tourism Strategy
We'd like to present our Tourism Strategy - a vision for the town's offer to its visitors - and would like your views and comments
We have an ambition to create a prosperous and viable economic future for the town, to help conserve its tradition and heritage and to ensure it remains somewhere people want to live, work, play in and visit. Added to this, the council has a responsibility to ensure Marlborough keeps up with the times and not only retains its strong position as part of the Great West Way (a tourism initiative promoting a 125 mile touring route from London to Bristol on ancient routes through idyllic countryside), but goes further and uses its muscle to help shape and develop what looks likely to become one of the world’s premier tourist routes.
