This spring, we're joining Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British
Spring Clean which runs from 15th – 31st March, to clear litter from our st
reets, parks and play areas here in Marlborough.
We have arranged two litter picking events:
• 10.30am – 12 noon on Tuesday 19th March

30 am on Wednesday 3 April
Meetin
g on the Town Hall steps, we will head off around the town, armed with pick
ers, hoops and bags to tackle some of the litter hot spots, rewarded with r
efreshments on our return!

If these dates do not suit but you still want to get in
volved you can always pledge an hour or two during these two weeks, to do y
our bit in your neighbourhood?
We
have all the equipment you will need and some useful guidance for you to f
ollow and can arrange to pick up the bags of rubbish you have collected. Yo
u can go it alone or team up with friends, family, work colleagues and neig
hbours.
All we ask is that you le
t us know how many bags of litter you have collected, which areas you have
covered and send us lots of lovely pics which we can share on social media.
