IN ACCO RDANCE with Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847, which section g ives Wiltshire Council (“the Council”) the power to make an Order for roads within its administrative area to be closed temporarily to all vehicular t raffic (and for alternative routes to be observed) for the purposes of prev enting obstruction.

The Council HEREBY ORDERS

On:                   Friday 18t h November 2022 between the hours of 17.00&nbs p;and 20.00

 That the following roads and s treets in the town of Marlborough&n bsp;are to be closed (save in any case of emergency) to all vehicu lar traffic:

  1. A4 (Part) High Street; from its junction with A345 Pewsey Road to its junction with N ew Road.
  1. C18 Kingsbury Street (Part); from its junction with High Street to its junct ion with Silverless Street.
  1. A4 (Part) New Road; from its junction with High Street to its junction with L ondon Road.
