Welcome Reception - September 2016

It can sometimes take a while to settle in to a new town or to adapt to retirement. With this in mind on Wednesday 21st September 2016 the Town Council got together with a number of community groups and organisations to put on a reception to welcome new (and nearly new) residents to the town and introduce just some of the ways to make the most out of living in such a vibrant community.

The reception was very successful and we aim to repeat it next year. Many thanks to all the visitors who came along to find out what the town has to offer, and of course our thanks to the volunteers who were ready and waiting to welcome them and chat about the options of getting involved: The Marlborough Players, Churches Together, Marlborough & District Link, the Tennis Club, the Bridge Club, the Community Youth Project and
