New play area
We're almost there...
On 21 July we received confirmation that ROSPA have approved the play area at Rabley Wood View. On Thursday 22 July following a joint site visit, Wiltshire Council signed off the Play Area according to the original section106 Planning agreement. This was with the condition that local arrangements agreed between Marlborough Town Council (MTC) and GreenSquare Accord (GSA) to complete some landscaping tasks and tree planting will be done by MTC later in the year when the weather conditions are favourable.
MTC is now in the process of executing the final legalities for the play area (and Hawthorn Meadow) before the site is officially open.
In the meantime MTC will continue to monitor the area and keep watering the new turf, with the hope of some rain!
