Permanent, Full-Time, Apprentice Youth Worker
An exciting opportunity to graduate with a degreeThe Town Council is recruiting a Permanent, Full-Time, Level 6 Apprentice Youth Development Worker.
We are looking for a trustworthy, practical, enthusiastic, and positive person who enjoys meeting a variety of people and keeping up high standards.
Not for the faint hearted, a varied work pattern means the role requires unsocial hours, with a greater weighting on your time on evenings and weekends in keeping with JNC expectations.
You will be working for the Town Council in a small, key and dynamic team, leading on the development of services and provision for young people ages 11-18 years, utilising Marlborough Community & Youth Centre, town events, as well as our other facilities and open spaces in the town. There will be a key emphasis on partnership working and developing and establishing a professional and sustainable local offer to the young people of Marlborough.
The youth work apprentice scheme has recently started which will enable you to become a professionally qualified JNC recognised Level 6 (degree level) Youth Worker. You will graduate with a degree in youth work on completion of the programme.
