Fly tipped soil

Yesterday, Thursday, 7 March, we had a report of soil fly tipping into the leat at Cooper's Meadow.

We would like to support and reinforce ARK's comments below and will monitor any response. If clearing this falls to the Council or the EA there is of course a cost to the taxpayers of Marlborough
ARK said "This is illegal and we are currently following up on the report.  Unless it is swiftly removed it will be reported to the EA.
Soil clogs the riverbeds and the nutrients will reduce water quality. Water quality is key to a healthy river and thriving wildlife."
