Would you like to stand for election as a Marlborough Town Councillor to represent the West Ward?
All the information you need is given below.
We draw your attention to the deadline date, and that papers must be submitted in person by appointment to Wiltshire Council Electoral Staff at the Chippenham offices.

As you will see in the notice, Nomination Papers must be hand delivered between 10am and 4pm from Friday, 16 February until the statutory deadline of 4pm on Friday, 23 February 2024 (excluding Saturday and Sunday). The venue for delivery of Nomination Papers is: Wiltshire Council, Electoral Services, Monkton Park Chippenham Wiltshire SN15 1ER (to the Electoral Services Staff).
Nomination Papers are available to download from the Electoral Commission website at:https://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/i-am-a/candidate-or-agent/parish-council-elections-england
Candidates can make an appointment to submit their Nomination Papers by using the online booking system: https://ilforms.wiltshire.gov.uk/BookingsElectionCandidateSlot/Index.

What happens next?
If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 21 March 2024.
