Breaking ground
We've started work to bring you a new toddlers' play areaIn February we closed the toddlers' play area at Wye House Gardens. Rather than simply replacing the old equipment we took the opportunity to redesign the area to be more in keeping with the rest of Wye House Gardens but still provide a toddler-friendly safe space.
The Town Council's Grounds Team is leading the project - pictured above is our Foreman, Jason, preparing the ground. Most of the cost is being met from CIL funding.
The garden itself will remain open to the public, and in the meantime there are plenty of alternative play areas in Marlborough and Manton with equipment for all ages.
We'd like to take the opportunity too to say a big thank-you to our neighbours for bearing with us while we carry out the upgrade.
