Changes to road layout

Temporary changes to the road layout will be put in place on Thursday, 3 December to widen pavements in part of the High Street.

This will increase pavement space in the very narrow section of the High Street that runs from the corner of Kingsbury Street (The Marlborough Bike Company) past 143 High Street (Costa Coffee) to allow for safer social distancing for pedestrians.

The work will involve traffic management with stop/go signs and it is hoped that there will be minimum disruption involved.
