The Friends of the Victorian Cemetery volunteers invite you to an open morn
ing at the Victorian Cemetery & Arboretum at Marlbor
ough Common.
Starting at 10am with an introduction to the activities on offer, there
will be lots to get involved with.

For the little ones there will be a discovery quiz and the chance to build
a bug hotel or help to create habitat piles
- Hear a little about the history o
f the Cemetery and our plans for the future
- Cold refreshments
- Take a tour - the
re will be leaflets and maps showing where the wildflowers are planted and
naming the specimen trees
- Bring along your gardening gloves and small tools s
uch as secateurs and join the Friends with a little weeding and pruning, or
litterpicking
Why not bring a camp chair and a picnic and enjoy the peaceful, birdsong f
illed space after the activities finish at 12?
