Urgent Closure of: Free's Avenue (Part), Marlborough
WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 28 January 2025, the following length of road shall be closed to
all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Openreach to carry out access to underground structure to
restore customer service.
Free's Avenue (Part), Marlborough; from its junction with Eagle Cottage in a southernly direction for approximately
1300 metres.
Alternative route: via Frees Avenue (unaffected length), A4, A4361 and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for
residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 28 January 2025 and are anticipated to be required for 2 days between the hours of
09:30 and 15:30. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
