Once again, the Town Council is asking for your nominations for those special Marlborough residents who really deserve recognition. If you would like to suggest someone who has made an outstanding contribution, volunteering their time to help or care for others or working to improve their community, please complete one of our nomination forms.

Candidates must live in Marlborough and Manton.

superstar stamp logoIf you'd considering someone aged 18 or under, please nominate them using the Young Citizen of the Award form.

Nominations must be via the completed form, which should be returned to us by midday on Friday, 10th November. The nominations will be considered by Town Councillors for final decision and the winner's name will be announced at the Christmas Lights Switch-on event on Friday, 1st December.

Spring Bank Holiday 2017

 

Please note our offices will be closed from 4 pm on Friday, 26th May until 10 am on Tuesday, 30th May. 

For emergency matters relating to Wiltshire Council services, call 0300 456 0100 - this covers adult and child social care, housing, highway faults, environmental health or building control (dangerous structures).  In the case of flooding, the Environment Agency hotline is 0800 807060.

For urgent matters relating to Marlborough Town Council services, our emergency line is 07931 996632.

Vacancy for a Town Councillor

Town Councillor VacancyfFollowing the recent local council elections, Marlborough Town Council has a vacancy which can now be filled by the process of co-option.

Anyone wishing to be considered for the role of Town Councillor should contact the Town Clerk.  

Closing date for applications is noon on Wednesday, 7th June 2017. The co-option will be made at the Extraordinary Full Council Meeting on Wednesday, 14th June 2017.
