Civic Dinner, 23rd February 2018

Town Mayor, Cllr. Mervyn Hall held a Civic Dinner in honour of 4 Military Intelligence Batallion to thank them for the tremendous work they do for the town. Most noticeable is their attendance at the annual Remembrance Parade and Armistice Day ceremonies, but they help out with other community events too and thanks to a Community Covenant between the Batallion and the town this is set to continue. This year there was fabulous entertainment from the Band of the Adjutant General's Corps and Marlborough Community Choir. Thank you to everyone who came along and made the evening such a success, provided the entertainment or worked hard behind the scenes. We hope you enjoy these photos taken at the reception at the beginning of the evening.

Minutes & Agendas 2017-18

On this page you'll find the dates for all our meetings together with meeting papers.

Meetings are usually held in the Council Chamber in the Town Hall, starting at 7pm - but see individual agendas for details.

Members of the public and press are welcome at all our meetings. Each meeting starts with public question time when any resident of the parish can ask a question of the Town Council or Committee - your question can be on any topic and isn't restricted to the agenda items, and there's no need to stay for the whole meeting if you don't want to. To find out more about attending a meeting and asking a question click here. In the interests of openness and transparency meetings may also be recorded - see our policy here. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded please make your wishes known to the Town Clerk just before the meeting starts.
